Run Photo of the Day 2.9.11 : 6 Feet Running in the Poi

Nik & I and met John from the Poi for a short easy run through beautiful Mattapoisett.

The weather was chilly -- about 20 degrees -- but it was actually pretty ideal running weather around gorgeous Mattapoisett scenery. Click that panorama to enlarge it to see what I'm talking about.

We ran down past the Mattapoisett River (of course) and to the waterfront, near the (naturally) Mattapoisett Harbor. I'm in a secret contest with myself to see how many times I can get the word "Mattapoisett" into this post. The count is 5 so far.

We ended up running through snowy Cushing Cemetery, where many Mattapoisett (6) whaling heroes are buried.

Gorgeous! I've got to get my action out there to enjoy some of that Eastern scenery/history/art. Everything "old" here is not very.
