Video 1

Reactions:
video

Wow! It's 4 Feet Running's first ever video podcast! Nik and Dan check in very quickly between audio episodes with a little rough home-made video:

- Nik has a little bad news about her Garmin 405

- They talk about their race plans for the next audio episode

- Special Guest Star: Stanley as Stanley the pointer dog

- Go to www.runcast.tv for more information

Download this episode from iTunes, leave a comment or check us out on Podcast Alley. And feel free to call us at 206-350-1677, send us e-mail or leave a comment here!

It's always great to see the facial expressions associated with the sounds we normally get on a podcast. I especially enjoyed Stanley, but was hoping for a larger role. Thanks as always you two! Looking forward to the next 'cast I can take with me on a run.

Nik - when you send it that 405 be sure to tell them you're female - i think there is a pale greenish female-type band available now. Do lots of yoga and deep breathing while it's gone and you WILL survive.

Nicely done. I'm planning on leaving you another phone message--if only to shamelessly plug my podcast! Just kidding. Not really, though-just a little.

I thought the Trilogy Runners WERE girls. They're guys?

I like this format! But please don't stop podcasting.

Hey,
Just started following you a few weeks ago. I can't wait to see where the video goes. Keep up the good work.

I really like the video. It adds another dimension to an already fantastic podcast. Do you have a video camera I'd love to see the hometown. Or maybe you could just tote around the laptop on a run. Whaddya think?

Cheers

Rob (Ultradad)

Thanks, everybody! It's a little strange to be on camera like that. I'll learn to stop staring at the laptop screen instead of the camera.

Don't worry, we're not giving up on audio podcasts at all--but we figured since it was going to be an extra week between our audio shows, and since Runcast TV just started, we might try out a new piece of technology. You can expect a video every so often (they're fun, short, and easy to edit) but it's not the primary way we'll be in touch.

Oh, and yeah, Ultradad: we can use our cameras to shoot video, so we'll definitely take it along around Fall River, and especially if we go someplace cool.

There'll be more dogs for Justin, too, but in the meantime here's a video I shot a while ago of Stanley & Myrna fighting if you haven't seen it yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxJWTplq4zU

Love the video, now I can see the garmin 405 on your skinny girl wrist Nik. I have a skinny girl wrist also, the video convinced me to wait until they come out with a version just for us. Have you heard any news about the runner plus site? Is it really gone forever? It is what kept me motivated to run more. martjm
